Borussia Dortmund looking to extend Jamie Bynoe-Gittens’ contract

As reported by WAZ, Borussia Dortmund are in talks to extend the contract of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (18) and hope to announce a new deal in the coming days.

Bynoe-Gittens played just 26 minutes against Freiburg on Friday night, but scored BVB’s equaliser from range before assisting Youssoufa Moukoko, the Englishman playing an integral role in Dortmund’s victory in spirited comeback against tough opposition.

“He simply has incredible abilities to speed up the game and resolve tight situations,” said Edin Terzić after BVB’s comeback. Bynoe-Gittens received a rating of 8.0 by GGFN for his performance.

After joining BVB in the summer of 2021 at 16, Bynoe-Gittens was injured for 131 days with an ankle and shoulder injury. The Englishman has worked hard on his return and has been rewarded with a place in the first team squad. Bynoe-Gittens feels comfortable at the club and with ongoing extension talks harmonious so far, Borussia Dortmund hope to announce a new deal soon.
