Speaking to Bild, Bayern Munich President Herbert Hainer has confirmed that discussions with Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer for a contract extension look promising.
“Things are looking very good with Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer. There are advanced talks and I think we’ll be able to announce something soon,” said Hainer.
As for Robert Lewandowski, further talks are expected to take place: “A conversation took place with Lewandowski. As far as I know, a second meeting is already scheduled. The talks will continue.”
Müller, Neuer and Lewandowski all have contracts until 2023.
