Bayer Leverkusen to hold contract talks with Lukas Hradecky

After training on Sunday, Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper and captain Lukas Hradecky has confirmed that contract extension talks will take place this month.

“The appointment has been made,” Hradecky told Bild. “I would like to stay and assume that they would like to keep me for a few more years. The faster [we reach an agreement], the better for all parties.

“Bayer is a great club that has not won a title in years. To be the first to do this again should be out motivation.”

Hradecky has been ever present in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen this season, conceding 28 goals in 17 games. The Finland international has a contract until 2023.
