The DFB have suspended Stuttgart attacker Silas Katompa Mvumpa for three months until 11 September 2021 and have issued a €30,000 fine after the 22-year-old revealed his true identity.
“It was clear to him and us that Silas was going to be sanctioned by the DFB, and that’s the way it has to be according to the by-laws,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat. “At the same time, the verdict takes into account the exceptional circumstances of his case. We are glad that this concludes matters for Silas in terms of sporting legalities from the DFB.”
Silas recently made it known that he had been the victim of manipulation by his former agent.
