Speaking to Sky Germany, Borussia Dortmund’s head of licensed player division Sebastian Kehl has reiterated that they are planning with Erling Haaland next season.
“We are dealing with the situation in a very relaxed manner. We are planning with Erling,” said Kehl.
The 20-year-old has a contract with the Bundesliga side until 2024 with a release clause that comes into effect in 2022. As of now, Borussia Dortmund fully expect to be at the club next season, regardless of if they qualify for the Champions League.
It’s been reported that Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been in both Barcelona and Madrid to discuss the future of his client.
