MLS side Real Salt Lake have announced the signing of Hamburg striker Bobby Wood on a two-year contract. The American will join the club in the summer.
“It was really important for me to get into a club that felt like a family and that’s why it feels so good to come into Real Salt Lake. In talking with the coaches, that was the vibe I got and made it an easy decision,” said Wood. “I’m excited for this new chapter and challenge and I want to make it as successful as possible.”
Wood played 79 games and scored 13 goals in all competitions since joining HSV from Union Berlin in 2016.
