RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff: “The team is responsible.”

Speaking to DAZN after RB Leipzig’s 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin, CEO Oliver Mintzlaff labelled the performance as catastrophic as the Saxony club suffered a third successive defeat in the Bundesliga.

“We delivered a catastrophic performance and therefore I’m disappointed,” said Mintzlaff. “We lost every second ball and had few chances in front of goal. It’s not what we expect.

“The team is responsible. It’s not just a discussion about the coach, it’s also about the team. We don’t let anyone away with it. We are all RB Leipzig.

“We won’t be sitting around until Christmas and doing nothing, that was an awful game.”
