Bundesliga side Stuttgart have announced the signing of 23-year-old central defender Konstantinos Mavropanos on loan from Arsenal with an option to buy for a reported €3 million.
“We’ve always said that we’d like to have Dinos for longer at VfB insofar as we have the opportunity to do so,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat.
“Dinos made it clear from an early stage that he’d like to stay at VfB and we have been able to come to an arrangement with Arsenal that makes sense for both sides. Dinos is well on the way to becoming an absolutely top-quality central defender and we are delighted to have him at VfB again.”
