Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have announced the departure of 20-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee on a season-long loan to Belgian side Anderlecht.
“It’s very important for Joshua that he gets as much playing time as possible. Anderlecht offers him this chance. Joshua can now take the important next step in his professional career in an interesting league, and I trust him to have a good season,” said Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić.
Zirkzee’s loan is without a purchase option.
