Official | Bayer Leverkusen appoint Gerardo Seoane as head coach

Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen have this morning announced the appoint of Gerardo Seoane from Young Boys as their head coach on a three-year contract.

“I find it extremely attractive to coach a Bundesliga squad with such potential,” said Seoane. “In the very professional and ambitious environment here on the Rhine, I see ideal conditions to play attractive football and to be among the top teams in the league and in Europe. I’m really looking forward to this challenge.”

Seoane replaced Adi Hütter at Young Boys in 2018, winning three consecutive league titles and also knocking Bayer Leverkusen out of the Europa League Round of 32 this season.
