Speaking at Thursday’s pre-match presser, Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl reiterated that despite interest, the Bundesliga side haven’t received any offers for 24-year-old midfielder Florian Neuhaus.
“Flo Neuhaus will play for us this season. I have read a lot where he has already agreed and signed. But I can only say that I haven’t received a single offer for Flo Neuhaus,” said Eberl.
Neuhaus has three years remaining on his current deal but has attracted interest from both Bayern Munich and Liverpool over the last 12 months.
The Germany international played an important role under Marco Rose last season, featuring in all but one Bundesliga game, and will be an equally important player under new head coach Adi Hütter.
