Marco Rose: “It was a wild game.”

Speaking after Borussia Dortmund’s 4-3 win against Bayer Leverkusen, BVB head coach Marco Rose discussed the result and going home with three points.

“The most important thing today is the three points. It was a wild game, a spectacle for all spectators if they love football,” said Rose. “That was a top Bundesliga game, we saw two very good teams.

“From a coach’s point of view, you would like it to be different. But we go home happy. We still have a few things to talk about. We have to be better.”

Bayer Leverkusen took the lead on three occasions but were pegged back by Raphaël Guerreiro, Julian Brandt and a brace from Erling Haaland.
