Speaking to Kicker, Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer assumes that 21-year-old French defender Maxence Lacroix will remain at the Bundesliga club next season.
“I assume that he will continue to play for us. He can take another big step in his development with us in the Champions League,” said Schäfer.
Both Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have interest in signing Lacroix, who has a contract with Wolfsburg until 2024.
