Jürgen Klopp rules himself out of contention for the Germany job

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has ruled himself out of taking charge of the German national team after the DFB announced on Tuesday that Joachim Löw will step down from his role after the European Championships this summer.

“Am I available for the coach of the German national team this summer? No,” said Klopp.

“Joachim Löw did an incredible job. I’m sure the German FA will find a good solution. I have three years left at Liverpool. You sign a contract and you stick to that contract. I stuck to contracts at Mainz and Dortmund.”
