Hertha Berlin set to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng

According to Kicker, Hertha Berlin are in advanced negotiations to sign former player Kevin-Prince Boateng on a free transfer from Italian side Monza.

The 34-year-old would take on a leadership role at the club, similar to that of Sami Khedira last season before the World Cup winner retired from professional football.

Boateng worked under sporting director Fredi Bobic during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, winning the DFB Pokal in 2018.
