According to Kicker, four clubs remain interested in signing Bayern Munich defender David Alaba in the summer when his Bayern Munich contract expires.
La Liga side Real Madrid are frontrunners to sign the Austria international, who has a preference to play in Spain but agent Pini Zahavi told German outlet Kicker that they are still talking to other clubs.
Per the report, Real Madrid are confident that they will sign Alaba and that the debt at Barcelona means the Austrian is likely too expensive for them while both PSG and Chelsea remain interested.
Fabrizio Romano also suggests that there is a verbal agreement in place between Real Madrid and Alaba since January that would see the defender sign a contract until 2025.
Alaba confirmed in February that he will leave the Bundesliga side after 13 years.
