Bundesliga stadiums to return to 25,000 capacity with the exception of Bayern Munich

Kicker report today that following the conclusion of a meeting of the state and senate chancellery, a decision has been made to allow spectators to return to Bundesliga stadiums with a maximum capacity of 25,000.

Stadiums can have a 50% capacity but the figure is to be capped at 25,000. An exception to this is Bayern Munich after Bavarian politicians remain wary of the delta variant and so, the Allianz Arena is to have a maximum capacity of 20,000.

Incidence figures must not exceed 35 per 100,000 whilst hygiene rules will still remain in place.
