Borussia Dortmund may ask players to waiver their salaries

Borussia Dortmund bosses may ask players to waiver their salaries again due to a loss of revenue with no fans in attendance owing to the latest Covid-19 restrictions in place in Germany, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

This would be the third time that Marco Reus & Co. would help the club. The players waived €8.25 million in pre-season, adding to their €5m during the 2019/20 season.

Per Kicker, Borussia Dortmund will lose up to €4m in revenues for each game played at the Westfalenstadion without fans.
