Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement with Talleres for the transfer of 19-year-old central defender Piero Hincapié, according to Sky Germany.
The Ecuador international will sign a five-year contract with the Bundesliga club with only the final details still to be ironed out. Only then will Hincapié fly to Germany to complete his move.
Hincapié has played 19 games in all competitions for Talleres this season and was also part of the Ecuador squad that featured at the Copa America.
