Antonio Rüdiger on his future: “This will be the most important decision of my career.”

Chelsea and Germany international defender Antonio Rüdiger today discussed his future following reports that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have made initial enquiries to sign the 28-year-old.

“For me, this will be the most important decision of my professional career, so I won’t rush anything. Personally, I haven’t spoken to any club other than Chelsea,” Rüdiger told SID.

Christian Falk reported earlier that Bayern Munich had contacted the agent and brother of Rüdiger, Sahr Senesie, but that the German could yet sign a contract extension with Chelsea.

Rüdiger has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal.
