Speaking at Germany’s press conference, 28-year-old Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger has commented on reports linking him with Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
“It honours me and shows that I have been doing things right in the last few years but I don’t let that distract me too much. I have an obligation to my club to perform well. I have to prove myself every game and not let myself get distracted by rumours,” said Rüdiger.
Rüdiger has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal at Chelsea with Bayern Munich showing a keen interest in signing the German, who could yet sign a contract with the Premier League side.
