Adi Hütter comments on Gladbach rumours: “I can only confirm that I stand by what I said.”

Speaking at his pre-match presser ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt’s trip to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, head coach Adi Hütter has commented on rumours linking him to the Borussia Mönchengladbach job.

“I know the rumours want to make it clear but I don’t always feel like speculating,” said Hütter. “I can only confirm that I stand by what I said.”

The Austrian recently told Sky Germany that he plans on remaining at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Yesterday, Kicker reported that Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl had held recent talks with Hütter as their search for Marco Rose’s successor continues.

Hütter, alongside Erik ten Hag (Ajax) and Jesse Marsch (RB Salzburg) are amongst the favourites to succeed Rose, who will join Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.
