Yussuf Poulsen intends to stay at RB Leipzig despite interest from Premier League clubs

RB Leipzig attacker Yussuf Poulsen intends to stay at the Bundesliga club this summer despite being linked with Premier League clubs.

“I’m not looking for a transfer no matter how things go in the next eight games,” said Poulsen.  “I didn’t think about a transfer at any point and I still don’t. I have enough ambition to not just let things slide.”

The 25-year-old has fallen behind Patrik Schick in the pecking order at RB Leipzig, but remains an important member of Julian Nagelsmann’s squad.

Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United all have alleged interest in signing the Denmark international.

Poulsen has scored four and created five in 21 Bundesliga games this season.
