Players and staff of 2. Bundesliga club Erzgebirge Aue have been involved in a traffic accident whilst on their way to Nürnberg ahead of Friday’s fixture.
According to Bild, around 15 players and staff were on the coach at the time of the accident, when it was hit by a BMW.
“I just found out about the accident. A vehicle came flying and probably his out team bus. Fortuntely, no one was hurt,” said Aue president Helge Leonhardt.
“We will now distribute the players onto minibuses and continue our journey to Nürnberg.”
