According to Bild, Schalke midfielder Weston McKennie is not convinced of a transfer to Hertha Berlin and is instead toying with a move to the Premier League.
Although it appears that the transfer is off the table, both Schalke and Hertha Berlin came close to reaching an agreement. Hertha Berlin were ready to pay just short of Schalke’s €25 million valuation.
Premier League club Southampton and Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have both shown interest in signing the 21-year-old American.
