Bild report today that Union Berlin are interested in signing 23-year-old Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi from Liverpool following the departure of Sebastian Andersson to FC Köln.
On loan at Mainz 05 last season, Awoniyi has already rejected Greek side PAOK and would be open to returning to the Bundesliga.
