FC Köln have this evening announced the signing of 19-year-old Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare from Latvian side Valmiera FC on a season-long loan.
“Tolu is a young striker who has the potential to develop and brings many good qualities: he is athletic, good in the air and fast. Naturally, he will have to get used to the Bundesliga level. However, there is the advantage that he is already at match fitness and comes to us fully motivated,” said sporting director Horst Heldt.
Tolu Arokodare becomes FC Köln’s third signing in as many days, following Sebastian Andersson (Union Berlin) and Ondrej Duda (Hertha BSC) to the Billy Goats.
