Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor have confirmed they’ve received an offer for 24-year-old striker Alexander Sørloth from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
“We have received an offer from RB Leipzig for our player Alexander Sørloth and our board is considering this offer with the best interests of our club in mind,” read a statement.
“While we were in the process of negotiations for all parties to get together, which requires the early termination of the loan contract, Alexander Sørloth had gone to Norway to join his national team.
“Our player, who was initially supposed to be in Trabzon on September 8, has informed us that he had a Covid-19 test of which results were due to arrive on September 10 and assured us that he was going to be in the city on September 11.
“As of today, the player is still not in Trabzon, thus, we have opened the disciplinary proceedings in accordance with our guidelines.”
