RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner is in talks to join Chelsea on a five-year contract, according to Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk.
The Premier League club are willing to trigger the €60 million release clause in Werner’s contract, which expires on 15 June, with Manchester United and Liverpool also linked in recent weeks.
Werner is expected to earn more than €10m-per-year at Chelsea.
The Germany international striker has scored 31 goals and created 12 in 40 games in all competitions for RB Leipzig this season.
