Timo Hübers becomes first footballer in Germany to test positive for coronavirus

Hannover 96 have confirmed that 23-year-old defender Timo Hübers has tested positive for coronavirus, becoming the first positive case of Covid-19 in professional German football.

It’s believed that Hübers became infected on Saturday evening at an event and as a precautionary measure, everyone who came in contact with Hübers are being tested.
