Hertha BSC vs Union Berlin will be played behind closed doors

The Berlin derby is the latest Bundesliga fixtures to be played behind closed doors following the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Hertha BSC confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that their fixture against local rivals Union Berlin will be played in an empty stadium to minimise the risk of spread.

Multiple states within Germany have announced that public events with more than 1000 attendees will be cancelled, or played behind closed doors.

Hertha Berlin’s game against Augsburg will also be played behind closed doors.
