Patrik Schick wants Germany stay; agent to meet with AS Roma bosses on Wednesday

Bild report that Czech Republic international Patrik Schick is keen to stay in the Bundesliga next season.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig but is due to return to Roma in the coming days. His return to the Italian capital will spark talks about his immediate future with his agent Pavel Paska telling Bild; “I have an appointment in Rome on Wednesday. Then we’ll see what his future looks like.”

Leipzig are very keen to take the player on loan again next term but at present do not have the funds necessary to sign the forward on a permanent deal with Roma are looking for a fee of around €25 million.

Fellow Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are said to be monitoring the situation closely and remain interested in Schick. The departure of their star player Kai Havertz to Chelsea could trigger a move from Die Werkself.
