Union Berlin have announced the signing of 23-year-old attacker Cedric Teuchert from Schalke. Neither club have specified the terms of the transfer.
“I’m looking forward to Union and the Bundesliga. After my first season at Schalke didn’t live up to my expectations, I want to go forward again and I’m ready for the new challenge,” said Teuchert.
“The club wants to establish itself in the Bundesliga and that is also my personal goal. I’m looking forward to learning from experienced players and bringing a breath of fresh air into the team,” the 23-year-old said after confirming his transfer.”
Teuchert joined Schalke from FC Nürnberg in 2018 and spent last season on loan at Hannover 96, where he scored six and created four in 23 games.
