Schalke 04 have this morning announced the appointment of Manuel Baum as their new head coach. Former defender Naldo will be the German’s assistant coach.
David Wagner was sacked as S04 head coach on Sunday after a defeat to Werder Bremen on Saturday evening. The 48-year-old picked up just six points from a possible 54.
Baum has signed a two-year contract.
