RB Leipzig have this afternoon announced the signing of 18-year-old Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol, the youngster will remain at Dinamo Zagreb until July 2021.
The youngster has agreed a contract with the Bundesliga side until 2026.
“With Joško Gvardiol we were able to sign one of the greatest European defensive talents,” said sporting director Markus Krösche. “Joško will be able to gain more experience and match practice in Zagreb over the next few months before he will join us in summer 2021.”
RB Leipzig beat Premier League side Leeds United to the signing of Gvardiol.
