RB Leipzig have announced the departure of Uruguayan left-back Marcelo Saracchi to Galatasaray on loan until the summer of 2021, the club confirmed.
Galatasaray don’t have an option to buy permanently.
The 21-year-old joined the Bundesliga club from River Plate in 2018 for €11m but has played just 176 minutes of Bundesliga football this season under Julian Nagelsmann.
With the departure of Saracchi, this could prompt RB Leipzig to undergo further talks with AS Monaco regarding the signing of Benjamin Henrichs, who can play in a number of positions.
