Official | Maximilian Beier signs long-term Hoffenheim contract

Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have today announced the contract extension of German youth international striker Maximilian Beier until 2024, two days after his 18th birthday.

“Maxi is an extremely talented young player who we have a lot of confidence in in the future,” said sporting director Alexander Rosen. “He has great potential and we will give him the time he needs to develop in peace.

“Maxi is another prime example of our path, integrating talents from our own academy into the professional squad and developing them there was, and will remain one of our central pillars.

At 17 years, three months and 22 days, Maximilian Beier made his Hoffenheim debut vs Freiburg during the 2019/20 season, becoming the youngest TSG player after Niklas Süle. Beier joined the Bundesliga side from Energie Cottbus in 2018 and made six Bundesliga appearances during the 2019/20 campaign. His goals at youth level (18 in 26 for Hoffenheim U17s and 12 in 17 for Hoffenheim U19s) promoted the management to integrate the young German into their first team.
