SC Freiburg this afternoon announced the signing of 22-year-old goalkeeper Florian Müller on a one-year loan from Mainz 05.
SCF sold Alexander Schwolow to Hertha BSC this summer which saw Mark Flekken promoted to No. 1. However, after picking up an elbow injury, Freiburg were forced to bring in a new stopper.
Per Kicker, the one-year loan deal doesn’t include an option to buy.
