Official | Bayern Munich sign Tiago Dantas (Benfica) and Rémy Vita (Troyes)

Bayern Munich are set to bolster their options in their reserve side by announcing the arrivals of Tiago Dantas and Rémy Vita from Benfica and Troyes respectively.

Portuguese midfielder Dantas (19) will originally join the club on loan until the end of the season but the German champions have an option to buy for a reported €8million, according to Kicker. The young central midfielder is very highly-rated and made his senior debut for Benfica in late 2019. The Portuguese U-20 international was reportedly requested by Hansi Flick, who sees him as the “new Thiago Alcântara.”

Bayern have also signed French full-back Rémy Vita (19) from Ligue 2 side Troyes on a three-year contract. The young left-back made his senior debut for Troyes in August of this year and has gone on to play four times since.

The pair will join up with the rest of the Bayern II squad in the coming days.
