Contrary to reports, Liverpool have not submitted a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago, according to Christian Falk, Bild’s Head of Football.
The Bundesliga club have not received an offer of €30 million from the Premier League champions, with Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge earlier commenting that they’d only sell if they received a suitable offer.
“I have to honestly say, the fees that circulate in the media I have to laugh at. We will not have a summer sale here. We will only consider selling if the numbers are right,” said Rummenigge.
Thiago has one-year remaining on his Bayern Munich contract.
