Markus Krösche denies RB Leipzig agreement with Milot Rashica

RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche has denied the Bundesliga club has reached an agreement with 23-year-old Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica.

“Milot is interesting. But there are considerably more interesting players. Basically, we are of course always concerned with our future squad. But that’s still far away, our focus is on the resumption of the league on Saturday,” Krösche told Bild.

“Afterwards, we’ll see what conditions prevail and what opportunities we have, so we can deal with the topic in more concrete terms.”

Rashica has a €38 million release clause in his contract but could leave Werder for just €15m should they get relegated. In a bid to land their man early, Bild suggest that RB Leipzig will offer a base fee of €20m.
