With one Bundesliga game remaining, Mario Götze will not play for Borussia Dortmund again following the premature birth of his son, Rome, according to Bild.
The 28-year-old has missed the last four games following the birth of his son and with numerous hospital visits and examinations of the baby, he will miss the last game of the season to remain with his family.
It was announced in May that Borussia Dortmund would not extend the contract of Götze, who is available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
