Intermediary used in negotiations between Manchester United & Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho

Sport Bild report today that Marco Lichtsteiner is acting as an intermediary between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of Jadon Sancho.

Brother of Stephan Lichtsteiner, former Arsenal and Juventus defender, Marco was also used for the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ousmane Dembélé and is closely tied to Sancho’s representatives.

Christian Falk reports that Borussia Dortmund will not budge on their €120 million valuation of Sancho with the Bundesliga club proposing Manchester United paying an initial €70m with a further €50m to be paid across the next two summers.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Sancho will agree personal terms with Manchester United and is ready to sign a five-year deal with the Premier League club. All that remains is an agreement between the two clubs over how the transfer fee will be paid.

Borussia Dortmund have set Manchester United a hard deadline of August 10, the day they travel to their Bad Ragaz training camp, to reach an agreement.
