Bild report today that Manuel Neuer wants a new five-year contract at Bayern Munich with an annual salary of over €20 million.
Both parties are in negotiations over a new contract extension, with Neuer’s current deal expiring in 2021. Bayern want to offer the Germany international a contract until 2023 with the option for a further year.
The report suggests that both Lucas Hernandez and Philippe Coutinho, who both arrived at the club from Spain, are on more than €20m per year.
Schalke goalkeeper Alexander Nübel will join Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer and has been promised a number of first team minutes.
