Contract negotiations between Manuel Neuer and Bayern Munich have stalled with the Germany international disappointed with their current offer.
According to Bild, Neuer wants a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club, with his current deal expiring in 2021.
The arrival of Alexander Nübel from Schalke on a free transfer in the upcoming summer will provide competition for Neuer, which could see Bayern choosing to award game time to the 23-year-old as opposed to Neuer in the coming season.
