Premier League club Leicester City have identified Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah as an alternative to 19-year-old Frenchman Wesley Fofana, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking exclusively to L’Équipe, translated via our colleagues at Get French Football News, Fofana is trying to force St Étienne to let him join Leicester City: “When the money is there, you have to take it… in one year, it will be almost impossible for me to go to England because of Brexit. Saliba is an example for me.”
The Ligue 1 club are currently not willing to accept Leicester City’s €29 million offer, which could see The Foxes target 24-year-old Germany international Tah.
