Speaking at a press conference, Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann has discussed the future of 24-year-old attacker Milot Rashica.
“We have noticed that the transfer market is picking up, that there is more movement and that Milot is obviously an interesting player for many clubs,” said Baumann.
“He has attracted interest from a few parties, who deal with the player specifically. And the more money there is in circulation, the better the price for us.
“It’s likely that Milot Rashica will leave us during the transfer window but it’s not completely impossible that he will still be a Werder Bremen player after October 5.”
Premier League club Aston Villa are ready to pay Werder Bremen’s €25 million asking price whilst Napoli have also shown concrete interest in signing the Kosovo international.
