Leeds United reach agreement with Bayern Munich for Michaël Cuisance

Premier League side Leeds United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for 21-year-old French midfielder Michaël Cuisance, according to The Athletic.

All sources point to a total agreement between Leeds United, Bayern Munich and the France youth international. The Bundesliga side will retain a buyback clause in the midfielder, according to David Ornstein.

Sources contacted by Get German Football News understand that Cuisance is unhappy with playing time at the Bundesliga club and would like to seek first team football.

Ligue 1 side Marseille had also shown an interest in signing Cuisance on loan but the pull of playing under Marcelo Bielsa is a major factor in the Frenchman’s move to the Premier League.

With the departure of Thiago to Liverpool and Javi Martínez likely re-joining Athletic Club, Bayern head coach Hansi Flick will be reluctant to allow Cuisance to leave and it’s almost certain that bosses will now search for a midfielder.

A busy week incoming for the European champions.
