Bayer Leverkusen have turned down a loan bid from Leicester City for 24-year-old Germany international defender Jonathan Tah, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Premier League side had submitted a €2m loan bid with a €22m option to buy the German. Leicester City are actively searching the market for a central-defender and have since had a €40 million bid for 19-year-old St Étienne defender Wesley Fofana accepted.
Sources contacted by Get German Football News understand that Tah was an alternative to Fofana for Leicester City, should they fail to sign the Frenchman.
