Kingsley Coman is not for sale – Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Speaking to Kicker, Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has stated that the Bundesliga side won’t sell 24-year-old attacker Kingsley Coman.

“Kingsley is not for sale. We will deal with a possible contract extension at the appropriate time,” said Rummenigge. Coman has a contract with Bayern Munich until 2023 but was linked with a move away from the reigning Bundesliga champions in the summer.

Bayern President Herbert Hainer also added: “Kingsley is an absolute top player today and is extremely valuable to Bayern Munich. He often makes the difference when it matters.”

Coman joined the Bundesliga club on loan from Juventus in 2015 before Bayern Munich opted to make his move permanent two years later for €21 million.

The France international has played 174 games in all competitions and has scored 38 and created 43 goals during his time in Germany and is currently enjoying one of his best season’s following several injury setbacks.
